COSRX LOW pH GOOD MORNING GEL CLEANSER

There are few cleansing gels on the market that really work for me. I love my cleansing balms/oils and milk cleansers; they nourish my skin and most importantly they don't strip my skin, so when I deviate it better be worth my time. Unlike most foaming cleansers, COSRX LOW PH GOOD MORNING GEL CLEANSER does not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), which can leave your skin feeling really dry or stripped. In recent times, there has been a trend towards using products that are surfactant free, even with hair products. A milder alternative derived from coconut is used to give the foaming effect that some people may favour. This product was honestly a pleasant surprise, and I am glad I gave it a shot.
LOW PH GOOD MORNING GEL CLEANSER (CLAIM)
Formulated with botanical skin purifying ingredients, mildly acidic ph. 5.0-6.0 cleanser works softly to make skin supple and clear
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE: a surfactant derived from a coconut oil salt. It is effective in products where high and creamy foam and good skin tolerance are desired.
EVENING PRIMROSE FLOWER :it's therapeutic botanical properties are described as astringent and helpful for skin irritation.
TEA TREE OIL: it promotes healing. It is particularly beneficial to acne problem, and or congested skins. Tree tee oil exhibit positive benefits against seborrhea, psoriasis and dermatitis.
BETAINE SALICYLATE:A fatty acid-type ingredient derived from Applied to skin, it is considered a good moisturizing and skin-soothing ingredient. It is similar to salicylic acid and found it is derived from sugar beets.

HOW TO USE IT
AM
Apply a small amount to clean hands and massage on damp face. Rinse off with water. If you use a face cloth, please make sure you clean your skin properly (go over with wet cloth at least twice)
PM
This cleanser can be used in the PM too. It takes off makeup and dirt pretty efficiently. I usually use it as my second cleanser following my pre-cleanse oil or balm. If the latter doesn't apply, repeat your AM routine

FRAGRANCE
The tea tree oil is pretty strong. It has a strong medicinal smell which can put some people off using it but once you feel the results you will get over it. Plus, you are rinsing it off so the smell goes away almost immediately

CONCLUSION
Pro
- No surfactants so it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry or stripped which also reduces possibility of break outs
- Good for pretty much all skin types
- Fantastic for oily , acne prone and sensitive skin
- It is gentle yet very effective in taking off dirt, sebum and makeup
- Works with most skin type
- Good size cleanser
- A little goes a long way
- Did not irritate or cause any negative reaction to my sensitive skin
Cons
- It has a strong smell that some may not like but it does not linger for too long.
- Avoid your eyes. It could sting your eyes especially if you are sensitive around your eyes.
In conclusion, this is a well-rounded cleanser and it works great but with all products please read the ingredients to know if it contains any ingredient you might be allergic to.
