CURRENT SKINCARE ROUTINE OCTOBER 2018

Fall is here so that means I need to tweak my routine to fit the seasons. Fall is actually my favorite skin season because my skin is usually at optimal during this season but it’s my least favorite season because I hate the cold. Anyways, back to skincare routine. This summer was fun ,filled with outdoor activities with the kids. Even though I covered up thoroughly, and applied and reapplied sunscreen, the Austin heat is no joke. I usually have to tackle a little photo damage here or there hence my new routine.
AM ROUTINE
CLEANSE
RHONDA ALLISON SKIN BRIGHTENING CLEANSER
All purpose cleanser for anyone with pigment concerns. This is an excellent daily wash, pre- and post laser treatments, to minimize pigmentation.

Notable Ingredients
BELLIS PERENNIS (DAISY) FLOWER EXTRACT
KOJIC ACID
VITAMIN B5

HOW I USE IT
I usually alternate this cleanser with a milk cleanser. On the days I use it, I use just one pump of cleanser in my palm, and massage it on my face. I wipe off with damp face cloth or gauze thoroughly.

TONER
MANDELIC DEFENCE LOTION (PURIFYING ANTIOXIDANT)
A purifying environmental defense toner that provides superior antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial support.

MANDELIC ACID
ASCORBIC ACID
TOCOPHEROL

HOW I USE IT
Apply a couple pumps on cotton pad, gently swipe across skin. Wait a min or two then apply moisturizer over it.

Verdict
LOVE! This is a relatively new toner in the Rhonda Allison line. Up until now, my favorite toners from the line were the brightening toner or the cucumber spritz for added hydration but this is creeping up there so far. A detailed review coming soon.

MOISTURIZE &PROTECT
MOISTURIZE

HOW I USE IT
Recently been testing out sunscreens so days that I am wearing an alternative sunscreen, I would layer this cream under it for additional hydration.

Verdict
it's a great moisturizer for all skin types. Love it and can't wait to share more about it in the coming weeks.

CONTROL CORRECTIVE OIL FREE SUNSCREEN SPF
A multi-purpose sunscreen and facial moisturizer. Offers broad spectrum UVA &UVB protection with antioxidants and botanical extract to help soothe and balance the skin.

Notable Ingredients
Octinoxate (6.9%) , Octisalate (3.0%) , Zinc Oxide (4.0%) Glycerin, squalane, ginseng root extract, comfrey leaf extract, hyaluronic acid,Vitamin E.
Verdict 
Easy to.use sunscreen. Love the fact that it is a moisturizer and sunscreen in one. Great formulation and no white cast. For full review click here
