AMLACTIN RAPID RELIEF Restoring lotion +ceramides

If Amlactin daily moisturizer and Cerave moisturizing lotion had a baby it would be Amlactin Rapid Relief. I reviewed Amlactin daily moisturizing lotion September 2018 after using it through the summer and it was a pleasant experience. However the ever curious skincare enthusiast in me, just had to try the Amlactin Restoring lotion +ceramides to find out if the claims were true .
Amlactin restoring lotion has a clinically proven, patent ULTRAPLEX and three essential ceramides that relieve extreme dryness. ULTRAPLEX® formul is an extra-strength blend of three moisturizing compounds that are derived from lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy. I used it for over 2months and the verdict is in; I love it.

INGREDIENTS 

ULRAPLEX:
Ammonium Lactate: Ammonium lactate is a combination of lactic acid and ammonium hydroxide. Ammonium lactate is a moisturizer.

Ammonium lactate is used to treat dry, scaly, itchy skin.

Potassium lactate: Potassium lactate is the salt of lactic acid used as buffering ingredient,exfoliant, and humectant.


Sodium lactate: Sodium Lactate is the natural salt derived from a natural fermentation product, lactic acid. Widely used as a buffer, humectant and exfoliant moisturizers.


Ceramides : naturally occurring skin fats rarely found at greater than trace levels in tissues. Depending on the particular layer of the skin (epidermis, stratum corneum etc) the composition can vary. These lipids have a role in the barrier properties of the skin, limiting loss of water and also preventing absorption harmful substances.

A lovely creamy texture. Definitely thicker than the Amlactin daily moisturizer

SKIN TYPE
All skin types, especially really dry skin.

It is terribly moisturizing. I mean my skin felt a beautiful cushion of ceramides all day
When my skin felt dry and itchy, I would apply it in certain patches and it immediately felt calm and less itchy.
It claimed it was non-greasy; it was non greasy. On application you feel it lingers a little bit on your skin but it absorbs in a short while.
Worked just as great on my KP as the Amlactin daily moisturizer
