CURRENT SKINCARE ROUTINE/ CURATED PRODUCTS . JAN TO FEB 2018

My family and I went on vacation towards the end of last year and it was a fun holiday. We went out to the beach and did a lot of outdoor activities that my kids appreciated but my skin did not. So once we got back I had to address the hyperpigmentation that was left behind with all the fun in the sun. The following is my current routine/ products I am curating for the showroom.

P.M Routine CLEANSE First Cleanse For my first cleanse in the P.M I always use either a cleansing balm or oil. Currently I am using the farmacy green cleansing balm which I am obsessed with (for review click here). I usually use it to wipe away makeup or excessive grime before cleansing with my second cleanse.
SECOND CLEANSE (AM AND PM) BESTE NO.9 JELLY CLEANSER A jelly cleanser that removes all traces of makeup, excess oil, pollution and any other grime of the day.
Active ingredient: Sodium Lauryl Methyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine and Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Verdict The minute I poured this cleanser in my palm and massaged it on my skin , I loved it. Its consistency reminds me of dermalogica special cleansing gel. It spreads easily and rinses off easily leaving your skin unstripped. I have used it for a little over a week so the verdict is still out but so far loving it.
EYE CREAM OLE HENRIKSON BANANA BRIGHT EYE CRÈME (AM &PM) Inspired by make up artist banana powder , this eye crème reduces the look of dark circles ,firms , and instantly targets fine lines and wrinkles while improving concealer wear. Active Ingredients Vitamin C Collagen Verdict I have mentioned my plight with genetic dark circles. It’s a real struggle finding anything that really works and I have tried my fair share. This new product by ole henrikson promises to reduce the appearance of dark circles and so far it does improve the darkness under my eyes on application but it remains to be seen if it can completely eradicate my raccoon eyes. As usual, I would have to give it some time before giving my conclusion, fingers crossed it works.
TREATMENT (AM ONLY) DRUNK ELEPHANT C FIRMA DAY SERUM 15 %L Ascorbic acid Vitamin C serum packed with powerful antioxidant complex of L-ascorbic acid, ferulic acids plus chronopeptide that transforms into vitamin D to reveal brighter, firmer, and more even looking complexion. Active Ingredients L ascorbic acid, pumpkin extract, ferulic acid , sodium hyluronate, VERDICT This serum is no joke! The minute you apply it on your face , you feel a tingling sensation all over. It is really too soon for me to have a true opinion on this product; I will like to test this out before sharing an honest review. However, in the short time I used it , I have noticed some exfoliation on my skin so this gives me hope for things to come.
COSRX BHA BLACKHEAD POWER LIQUID (PM ONLY) Blackhead power moisturizer is clinically proven to reduce the formation of blackheads and excess sebum is removed and skin is left hydrated
Active Ingredients: Nicinamide 2.00% SalixAlba Betaine Salicylate Verdict: I have not tested this product so there isn't much to report on at the moment. A full review will be posted one the blog soon. OLE HENRIKSON POWER BRIGHT (25% vitamin C )(ONCE PACK EVERY TWO WEEKS) Power bright is an at home professional strength intensive brightening system. With a 25% vitamin c concerntrate to help brighten skin and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Active Ingredients Raw Sugar and Pomegranate Seed Powder, Pure Honey, Rosehip Oil, and Pumpkin Extract Verdict Power bright by OLE HENRIKSON done in three steps with 6 individual uses. I have not tried any application yet because my hectic schedule has not permitted but I will in the coming weeks.
MOISTURIZER COSRX OIL FREE ULTRA MOISTURIZING(AM &PM ) Ultra hydrating lotion with birch sap which provides ample hydration without oily residue

Verdict This is one of my tried and true sunscreen/skin product. It is been in and out of my routine for over five years because I love it so much. Full review on its way.
